Cornell Prison Education Program
Lead instructor of the intro math course at the Auburn correctional facility, New York in Fall 2023. I designed a semester long intro math course where I delivered weekly lectures, prepared course materials , homeworks and exams. The incarcerted students got community college math credit for their 2 year associate's degree.
Learning lab instructor at the Five Points correctional facility, New York in summer 2023. I led a Mathematics and Coding workshop where I designed lectures and worksheets on basic algorithms, elementary number theory and probability.Lab tours and science demos co-chair in EYH Cornell, 2022 & 2023
Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) is an annual 1 day conference at Cornell for girls from 7th-9th grades to introduce them to research in science and technology. I have been in charge of organizing lab tours and science demonstrations for the conference in 2022 and 2023.Finance chair in Cornell REACT conference 2023
Research Education and Activities for Community Teachers (REACT) is an annual 2 day conference at Cornell where we connect K-12 educators to science research at Cornell university. 2024-Present : APS Career Mentoring Fellow
2021-Present : Mentor in Project SHORT – A student run initiative where I volunteer to help underrepresented minority students with their physics PhD applications.
2023-2024: Condensed matter seminar series - Co-organizer of a students and postdocs only weekly physics seminar series at Cornell University
2023: Cornell physics visit weekend - Organized a research poster session for prospective physics graduate students at Cornell.
